Spent the whole day looking for items for the Kunstkammer flat in Amsterdam. Think 18th century Holland. Display cabinets, strange objects, like this finial, and Chinese vases. Here is a pre-selection and a comfy chair.

Initially I thought the main room should have high, straight-backed chairs. But I think I have to make allowances for comfort. This one?
Colour chart and fabric samples. The white voile and cyclamen coloured cotton to its right have been bought and are now waiting to be made into curtains.

The brown ribbon is to hang pewter plates on the wall.
Ceiling and beams cleared from plasterboard. To the right the staircase, with a lowered ceiling. The white structure was necessary to hide heating pipes and cables.
