DIY

This may not be the most exciting or stylish page on my site - but I thought  you should know that I do DIY as well. I want people to have reasonably priced, stylish interiors. And a little bit of DIY goes a long way to make interiors look great. I am fine with Ikea. I am also very fine with cutting up Ikea items to make them fit better in an interior. (See the last picture for that), but first a few more standard things I offer:
I assemble furniture and install panelling, lighting. I paint and wallpaper.
A cheap way to make an interior look stylish and lush is to make simple wooden frames and stretch and staple fabric around it. I do that as well...
...or design and put together a cupboard (in this case clad in oak on one side to fit the corridor).
Here is an example of cutting up an Ikea item to make a CD-cupboard look like built-in and made to measure. The standard cupboard was 10cm short and with an extra door cut to measure and fitted between wall and cupboard, the whole thing looks priceless!
