| London | Islington

My first flat in London had a wall of windows looking out to King's Cross station and to some less interesting buildings.

In summer.
In winter. Terrace with 'the wrong kind of snow' according to the Mayor of London, this was the winter two years ago.
I particularly liked the thin metal window frames. You can also see them reflected in the abstract water colour by the Belgian artist Gabriel Belgeonne in the last photo.
My collection Chinese blue is from various sources: the vase made into a lamp comes from my grandmother, the small cups and saucers are copies of of 18th century French, Saint-Cloud porcelain (Edition du 107 Rivoli). The flower pot was bought at auction and the big pots are from a shop in Brussels with the great name Compagnie de l'Orient et de la Chine.
